Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin has vowed that there will be no cover-up over a pendrive handed to him by Johor crown prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim.

"I will not cover up anyone's wrongdoings. I will not hide them.

"I act transparently based on the report (in the pendrive)... as soon as possible," he was quoted as saying by Bernama.

Tunku Ismail had revealed he handed Khairy the pendrive in a meeting with the minister last week.

The contents of the pendrive remain a mystery but Tunku Ismail previously claimed that he had evidence of wrongdoing by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM).

Khairy had last Saturday chose to remain mum on the matter but today said he needed time to go through the contents of the pen drive as it was voluminous.

"There are 279 pages of the report in the pen drive.

"It was only given to me last Friday and I only had some time over the weekend but still had to attend a number of programmes like Fit Malaysia on Saturday and another function in the evening.

"I only managed to read it last night. You need to give me time to read the whole document.

"After that, I will inform you of the next move," he was quoted as saying.
