Police confirm that no other individuals will be called over the illegal rally staged in several places in Kuala Lumpur, including Dataran Merdeka, on Aug 27.

Dang Wangi district police chief ACP Zainol Samah said that he would refer to the deputy public prosecutor for further action following investigations on individuals involved in the gathering.

On Thursday, police had recorded the statements of 11 participants of the illegal rally and said that they would call 20 more individuals.

About 1,500 people, mostly students, took part in the anti-government illegal rally.
