Penang Gerakan is questioning which firm will now take the place of China-based Beijing Urban Construction Group (BUCG) which was booted out of the consortium for the undersea tunnel linking Gurney Drive and Butterworth.

“Back in 2013, Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng promoted the firm, saying BUCG built the 2008 Olympics Stadium in China.
