Traffic flow on several major highways was still slow as of 5pm today due to the Aidiladha exodus out of the Klang Valley.

A Plus Malaysia Berhad spokesperson said among the affected routes were Behrang to Slim River, Bidor to Gopeng and Sungai Petani to Gurun.

"The number of vehicles is expected to continue increasing until tonight," he said when contacted today.

A spokesperson from the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) said traffic was also slow from the Gombak Toll Plaza heading to Lentang and Karak Toll Plaza heading to east coast.

"Traffic also remains slow along the stretch before exiting the Kuala Terengganu Toll Plaza," he said.
