Several areas in Sabak Bernam, Selangor, will experience water disruption from 9am to 7pm on Sept 20, according to Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas).

It said in a statement today the affected areas included Kampung Banting, Tebuk Jawa, Tebuk Mufrad, Parit Baru, Bagan Nakhoda Omar, Teluk Rhu, Sg Apong, Sg Tengar, Sg Air Tawar, as well as all areas in Parit Changkat, Peket 20, Peket 60 and Peket 100.

Other areas included Simpang Lima, Sg Nibong, Pasir Panjang, Sg Leman, Sg Lang, Parit Baru Baroh, Sg Tengar Utara, Tebuk Pekan, Tebuk Rukun, Politeknik Sg Lang, Ildas, Iljas, National Accounting Institute and Sekolah Integrasi Sg Lang.

Syabas said the disruption would be due to work to improve the efficiency of the water distribution system in Sabak Bernam, and the replacement of equipment.

“Users are advised to store sufficient water before Sept 20,” the statement said.
