Maria Chin is opposition’s ‘circus animal’, says Jamal

Kingfisher: It is becoming quite amusing to repeatedly hear threats of "monkey see monkey do" from those with dubious claims to represent national interest.

Sungai Besar Umno chief Jamal Mohd Yunos will best serve his interests and the interests of his supporters and the nation if he initiates his rally on his own motivation and not as a reaction against Bersih's initiative.

Why this open threat and defiance by Jamal and his followers? Is it a reflection or a presumption of arrogance that as they have reached the apex of the Malaysian food chain without any credible opposition in a predatory competition so that they can continue their predatory dominance without any fear of anyone or any institution?

Demi Rakyat: The rakyat gather to protest against corruption, lies, abuse of power and an administration that allegedly does not care. What does Jamal want to protest?

He wants to protest against those who protest. In other words, Jamal is supporting corruption, lies, abuse of power and the present administration, which allegedly does not care for the rakyat.

In so doing, Jamal and his supporters are showing disloyalty to ‘agama, bangsa dan negara’ (religion, race and country).

Pahatian: After giving out over half a million ringgit at an Umno division meeting recently, he still has a lot of money to organise a counter-rally with thousands of people, free red T-shirts, free food and drinks and possibly RM50 each as pocket money.

The question is, where is the money coming from?

Anonymous #03815719: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) should not just keep quiet on Jamal as to the source of his RM600,000 giveaway to the Umno delegates.

Now he is threatening a counter-rally against Bersih 5. Indeed, where is he getting the money from? No man in his sound mind would throw away money that is hard-earned. Unless it is ‘dedak’ (animal feed).

Tholu: Jamal, never mind if Bersih chairperson Maria Chin Abdullah is the opposition’s circus animal.

The circus animal and the opposition parties are going to hold Bersih 5 to protest the issues affecting 1MDB and the whole world knows what they are - issues ranging from massive corruption, abuse of power, embezzlement of government funds and kleptocracy by Malaysian Official 1 (MO1) who has been identified as Najib Abdul Razak.

On your part, Jamal, please give us just one reason why you and your red-shirt band want to hold a counter-protest against Bersih 5?

You don't have a good reason other than to impress Najib and perhaps hope to be given a ministerial post and a lot of ‘dedak’. You are such a shameless and unprincipled being.

And don't resort to name calling, Jamal. It reflects on your poor upbringing by your parents.

Patriot1: Maria is internationally recognised as a fighter for human rights and has been given an award for her activities to which the Malaysian government denied her the right to travel to receive the award.

Jamal is nothing but an opportunist racist who has to date not done anything constructive other than stirring racial emotions.

Mushiro: Just last month Jamal's red shirt group chickened out and dared not rally against the Tangkap MO1 rally.

Bersih 5 will be more than 50 times bigger than the Tangkap MO1 rally and Jamal will not even show his face there.

CQ Muar: Jamal, as for your usual threat with a counter-rally against Bersih 5, bring it on with your 300,000 multiracial supporters. Like you, we look forward to it, too.

RCZ: Umno must be so proud of Jamal, a bully who is both rude and crude. He doesn't know what he is fighting for. He is an embarrassment to the Malay race.

Bersih is for clean and fair elections and to get rid of corruption and hold those responsible for this to account.

Obviously this clown doesn't want clean and fair elections and wants to keep an alleged thief in power.

Gggg: Bersih should go to court and get an injunction against Jamal to stop him preventing the movement to exercise its constitutional rights.
