National paralympic swimmer Jamery Siga has failed to advance to the final of the 100m men's freestyle S5 (polio).
Jamery finished the first heat in fifth place with a time of 1 minute 23:44s at the Olympic Aquatic Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil today.
The 31-year-old swimmer could not improve on his personal best of 1:22.59s recorded in the Asean Para Games in Singapore last year.
The Sarawakian finished in 10th place out of 14 participants. Only eight swimmers with the best times qualified for the final.
