Remand extended on four in Sabah misappropriation case

The remand on four people including the director and deputy director of the Sabah Water Department was today extended for between five to seven days.
The remand order applied for by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) was issued by Magistrate Jessica Ombou Kakayun.
The four were first remanded for seven days on Oct 5.
On Oct 4, they were detained by the MACC which also seized millions of ringgit allegedly from the possession of the director and deputy director, to facilitate investigations into a power abuse and corruption case.
