An overturned lorry carrying ammonia gas at Km19.7 of the New Klang Valley Expressway near the exit to Damansara, near Kuala Lumpur had caused a massive traffic congestion, stretching over five kilometers, today.

A Projek Lebuhraya Usahasama Berhad (Plus) spokesperson when contacted said the incident around 3pm had caused the left and middle lanes of the road from Shah Alam to the capital city centre, to be blocked.

“Only the right lane is accessible and the lorry is being removed from the location,” he said.

He said, the lorry driver had been retrieved from the vehicle and sent to the Sungai Buloh Hospital.

The spokesperson advised road users to avoid the area and use alternative roads.
