BN Selangor chief Noh Omar has challenged Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali to lodge a police report if the latter has proof BN had sabotaged the state's water supply.

"If the menteri besar really has proof that BN sabotaged Sungai Semenyih, then lodge a report with the life not the authorities.

"We want to see if his proof is correct. If he has proof, what is he waiting for?" he said at a press conference in the Parliament lobby today.

Noh likened Azmin's administration to the Malay song "Bangau oh bangau", that is always blaming problems on others.

Syabas yesterday announced another disruption in water supply due to pollution in the Semenyih station, the second such reported incident this month.

The Selangor government said the contamination was traced to Sungai Buah in neighbouring Negri Sembilan

The New Straits Times yesterday reported Azmin saying his administration had "strong evidence" of sabotage.

"From initial reports and evidences collected, there were tendencies that this incident was an act of sabotage by BN and Umno to undermine Selangor government,"

When met at the Parliament lobby today, Azmin told reporters Lembaga Urus Air Selangor (Luas) has already lodged a police report last night.

He said the state water management agency took the initiative to do so and will await the police to carry out investigations.

"We want the perpetrator to be brought to justice," he said briefly.
