Police are investigating a mother who had purportedly chained her daughter to a pole for refusing to go to school.

Subang Jaya OCPD (Mohammad Azlin Sadari) in a statement posted on the Subang Jaya district police Facebook page said that the Subang Jaya district control centre (DCC) had yesterday received a call from a man informing them of an eight-year-old Indian girl with her leg chained.

“The DCC then instructed the motorcycle patrolling unit to go to Lagoon Perdana Apartment in Bandar Sunway."
