The Kelantan Football Association (Kafa) and the Kelantan football squad's main sponsor, Vida Beauty Sdn Bhd, have agreed on the temporary suspension of the latter's sponsorship of the team in the Malaysian League next season.

Kafa president Annuar Musa said the decision was reached in a meeting with the company's owner, Hasmiza Othman recently.

"Datuk Seri Vida (Hasmiza) wants to temporarily suspend, and not cancel the sponsorship," he told reporters in Kota Baru today.

Annuar said if the company wanted to resume its sponsorship for Kelantan in the Malaysia League 2018, the agreement in the sponsorship contract would still apply.

"Kafa is very grateful to the company for the sponsorship granted this year, although Kafa has to find other means to cover several costs after this," he added.
