Umno information chief Annuar Musa has denied rumours that the party will be taking action against former second finance minister Husni Hanadzlah for raising questions on 1MDB in his Budget 2017 debate.

Sinar Harian quoted Annuar as saying that Husni had used Parliament as the right platform to ask his questions.

“At this point (the issue of) actions against him (Ahmad Husni) does not arise.

“So long as he speaks on the right platform, uses his rights as an MP and so long as he has good intentions,” said Annuar.
