PAS has agreed to meet with Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) to discuss a possible electoral pact, said Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin.

"The good news is PAS has agreed to hold a discussion with us and agreed on a date, so we see that as a step forward.

"Several of their leaders have been entrusted to hold the discussion, followed by engagement at the top leadership," he told reporters in Putrajaya today.

He said Pakatan Harapan has also invited Bersatu to join the coalition’s leadership meeting to discuss an electoral pact.

"We will use this opportunity to begin seat negotiations to which seats we can contest," he added.
