Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak cannot be allowed to solely decide on the direction of Malaysia's foreign policy, and risk compromising the country's position, said Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) strategic director Dzulkefly Ahmad.

He was commenting on Najib's six-day visit to China, which has seen the two countries inking deals worth a collective RM143.6 billion.

“Is Najib qualified to decide on foreign policies that would have geopolitical consequences and strategic risks, when he himself is in a compromised position?” asked Dzulkefly in a statement.
