It is too premature to analyse the impact of Donald Trump's victory at the US presidential election on the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA), said Industry and Trade Minister Mustapa Mohamed.

He said Trump's anti-TPPA could just be campaign rhetoric, which would not materialise once he is sworn in as president.

"He has made many campaign statements and some view this only as a rhetorical campaign to fish for votes."
