Bersih chief Maria Chin Abdullah and political activist Hishamuddin Rais were questioned by police today over a Nov 5 ceramah in Parit Bakar, near Johor Bahru.

They arrived at about 9.30 at the Petaling Jaya district police headquarters, and were questioned for nearly an hour by a police officer from Johor, said Hishammuddin.

He added that they were told that seven other individuals will be called in, including former deputy prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin who was also at the Bersih ceramah.
