The Rohingya diaspora in Kuala Lumpur today took to the streets to protest against the killing of their kin by the Myanmar government.

They marched for 1km, from the Tabung Haji Mosque to the Myanmar Embassy, after Friday prayers.

The marchers carried placards condemning the killings, as well as graphic photographs of their kin allegedly murdered by the Myanmar authorities.

The group's representative, 49-year-old Rafiq Ismail, said all 17 of his family members have been killed in the Rakhine State of Myanmar.
