Gov't officer with 'Datuk' title remanded for four days

A government officer with a 'Datuk' title has been remanded for four days to assist in investigations into a corruption case involving local authority projects here.
The remand order effective today on the man aged 55, was issued by the Ayer Keroh Magistrate's Court in Malacca.
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) detained the suspect yesterday at around 2pm and has also frozen his bank account which allegedly contained millions of ringgit.
