The Malacca state government through the Melaka Education Trust Fund (Tapem) will provide RM3,000 and RM1,000 incentives for outstanding Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Form Three Assessment (PT3) students this year.
Chief Minister Idris Haron said the incentives would be given to students who scored A in all subjects in the examinations.
"This is to encourage students to work hard from the beginning and not leave their revision to the last minute," he told a press conference today.
Earlier, he handed out school necessities to 31 primary and secondary school students in Klebang Kecil.
