Former BSI banker Yeo Jiawei, who was sentenced to 30 months in jail for covering up alleged money laundering and regulatory offences linked to 1MDB, will appeal his conviction.

Bloomberg quoted Yeo's lawyer Philip Fong confirming the planned appeal but declined further comment.
