Umno man: MACC crackdown not a pre-polls PR exercise

Cheras Umno division leader Syed Ali Alhabshee has refuted the claim that the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is attempting to spruce Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's image.

Syed Ali Alhabshee denied that the commission's move against several high-profile individuals was related to the forthcoming general election.
