No bomb in JB, just evacuation drill
Police today refuted claims of a bomb scare at the Johor Bahru customs and immigration complex.
Johor police chief Wan Ahmad Najmudin Mohd said the rumours were likely sparked by an evacuation drill at the building yesterday.
Police conducted checks and found no explosive devices at the area, he said.

Police on Saturday released a statement to announce the evacuation drill at Bangunan Sultan Iskandar and JB Sentral on Sunday.
Johor Baru Selatan district police chief Sulaiman Salleh said the evacuation drill was done annually.
He said the drills were done based on various scenarios including terrorist attack and earthquakes.
