Nong Chik: Nurul in no position to whine about 'Trump tactics'
Lembah Pantai Umno chief Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin said PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar was in no position to complain about Umno emulating US President Donald Trump's tactics.
Raja Nong Chik, who was defeated by Nurul Izzah for the Lembah Pantai parliamentary seat in the 2013 general election, accused her of being a "master of false perception".
"Nurul Izzah, to me, is a master of false perception... It is unfair for her to be criticising Deputy Prime Miniser Ahmad Zahid Hamidi," he told Malaysiakini.

Raja Nong Chik was referring to Nurul Izzah's criticism against Ahmad Zahid for urging Umno to emulate Trump as well as India Prime Minister Narendran Modi's ability to control perception.
Nurul Izzah had noted that Trump's campaign had been based on misinformation and said there was no need to lie to win the people's support.
Nurul's unsubstantiated claims
However, Raja Nong Chik claimed that Nurul Izzah too had made unsubstantiated allegations against him during the general election.
"Nurul Izzah, to me, won inappropriately. She attacked me based on two issues.
"The first she raised was the issue of 5,000 phantom voters. In reality, the 5,000 were from the slums who have been relocated to the flat (in the constituency) as their old village is no longer there.
"For example Kerinchi is now Residensi Kerinchi, Abdullah Hukum is now Apartment Abdullah Hukum and Kawasan Pantai B is now Kawasan PPR Pantai Ria," he said.
The second issue, he claimed, was Nurul Izzah purportedly defaming him over a of plot of land in Bukit Kiara that was owned by the Kuala Lumpur City Hall.
"A day before the general election, she accused me of buying the land in Bukit Kiara, she made a false statement," said Raja Nong Chik, who at that time was Federal Territories Minister.
Raja Nong Chik later sued Nurul Izzah for defamation and an a settlement was achieved with the latter expressing regret.
Nurul Izzah defeated Raja Nong Chik with a 1,847-vote majority in the last general election.
