Badminton World Number 1 Lee Chong Wei said he was ready to quit from the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) after pulling out from next month's All-England tournament due to injury.
Lee hurt himself after a fall at the newly-opened Academy Badminton Malaysia in Bukit Kiara last weekend. According to The Star, Lee's complaints about slippery mats at the new training centre was not addressed by the BAM.
He said he had been silent about issues concerning the BAM out of respect for his coach Hendrawan who urged him to be patient.
"Now, I have lost my patience and I'm angry... If there is no solution, I'll quit BAM."
