Johor crown prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim did not mince words on his nomination to become the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) president in an interview posted on the state's football team Johor Southern Tigers' Facebook page.

The posting was accompanied with a photograph depicting the prince seated next to an open safe box, with files strewn all over the place.

Asked what would his first words be upon entering the FAM building if elected president, Tunku Ismail replied: "No wonder hell is empty. Everyone is here."

To another question on what sets him apart from the other candidates, the prince said: "They are nice people. Myself on the other hand, I am arrogant. But the difference between us is that they need the money, the position, and then kill your dreams. I have the resources to fulfill your dreams."

On Monday, Tunku Ismail's father and Johor ruler Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar had consented to his son contesting the FAM top post, and also instructed the prince to "change Malaysian football".

Following this, Umno information chief Annuar Musa announced that he too has decided to accept the nomination for the FAM presidency.

On Jan 31, Annuar was suspended as Mara chairperson to facilitate the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) probe into allegations of abuse of power and misappropriation of funds.

Tunku Ismail, on Jan 12, had accused Annuar of using his positions in Mara and the Mara-owned Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) to secure sponsorship for the Kelantan football team.

Annuar has denied the allegations.

Below is the full transcript of the interview with the crown prince posted on the Johor Southern Tigers Facebook page:

Journalist: If you are going to accept the nomination and who knows, be the President of FAM, what will be the first thing you say when you enter the building?

TMJ: No wonder hell is empty. Everyone's here.

Journalist: What do you think about the current situation right now?

TMJ: Regarding what?

Journalist: Regarding FAM and the individuals wanting to be the President?

TMJ: Oh, you mean the sports minister's proxy? Well I guess that it is sad to see that we have to fight our governing body and a few individuals just to save football.

Journalist: What is your advice to football fans?

TMJ: Be smart, as a general who served in the Indian Army once told me, 'Never underestimate the power of a politician who is desperate, willing to do or say anything to keep their job as they will manipulate the innocent minds for their own personal interest'.

Journalist: Very well Your Highness. What is the difference between you and the other candidates running for the Presidency?

TMJ: They are nice people. Myself on the other hand, I'm arrogant. But the difference between us is that they need the money, the position, and then kill your dreams. I have the resources to fulfill your dreams.

Journalist: So what are your plans Your Highness?

TMJ: A member of the special forces will never reveal his plans. Unless of course you are an honorary.

"I don't have a chance against a politician"

Journalist: Who do you think would win this upcoming FAM election, Your Highness?

TMJ: Khairy Jamaludin or minister's proxy.

Journalist: How about you, Your Highness?

TMJ: I don't have the chance to go against politician. I came from a small state and taking care a small club.

Journalist: So will you accept the nomination, Your Highness?

TMJ: For now I don't do much thinking, because I'm busy hardworking to purchase a foreign football club, maybe in Europe, if there is His will and busy doing my job in Johor. And I'm an arrogant person, I'm not qualified. The qualified ones are only politicians, ministers with honesty, wise about football and full of integrity.
