Former Selangor state exco member Mohd Mokhtar Ahmad Dahalan, 73, passed away at a private hospital near Shah Alam at 3.34am today, due to pancreatic cancer.

Subang Umno division chief Zein Isma Ismail said the deceased would be brought to his residence at Section 9 in Shah Alam, for burial at the Muslim cemetery at Section 21 at 11am.

Mokhtar was a Kota Damansara assemblyperson and Subang Umno division chief and had also served as Housing, Building Management and Squatters state executive councillor for two terms from 1999 till 2008.
