Transport Minister Liow Tiong Lai has denied funds ran out for the search of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370.

"Funding has never been the issue but we have to be more sure and more credible... we want more evidence," he told journalists at an MH370 remembrance ceremony in Kuala Lumpur today.

The Beijing-bound aircraft from Kuala Lumpur went missing on March 8, 2014 with 227 passengers and 17 crew members onboard.

The search for the aircraft in the Indian Ocean was suspended on Jan 17, 2017.
