Bersatu said tough to work with Harapan, claims PAS sec-gen
PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan claimed that Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) leadership finds it difficult working with Pakatan Harapan.
Takiyuddin said a Bersatu leader once revealed to him that this is because the fledgling party finds it tough to influence decisions.

"I think Bersatu would need to carefully consider the decision to join Harapan.
"In my meetings with Bersatu leaders, I was told that it is difficult for them to be with Harapan.
"They give the impression that this is because they would be the most junior party in Harapan," he told reporters at the International Conference on Rohingya Issues at Hotel Marriot in Putrajaya last night.
Yesterday, Bersatu chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad said the party had unanimously agreed to join Harapan to facilitate straight fights against BN in the 14th general election, but proposing that the coalition change its name.
Bersatu will also propose a new coalition logo and a joint election manifesto, Mahathir said after the party's supreme council meeting in Petaling Jaya.
The former premier added that Harapan knew of Bersatu's intention to join the coalition.
However, Takiyuddin said PAS has not been informed of Bersatu's plans to join the tripartite Harapan.
PAS and Bersatu have commenced talks for a possible electoral pact. PAS has refused to forge ties with Harapan.
"We have placed several conditions for Bersatu, including that it cannot join up with Harapan to attack PAS.
"It is Bersatu's right whether to join up with Harapan, but it cannot be with Harapan to attack us," he said.
Harapan comprises PKR, PAS splinter party Amanah and DAP.
DAP and Amanah have publicly criticised PAS, while PKR has insisted on continuing negotiations with PAS to form an electoral pact.
Despite bad blood, the Selangor government consists of PAS, PKR and DAP representatives.
The parties formerly formed the Pakatan Rakyat opposition coalition, which disbanded in 2015 over disagreements between DAP and PAS over the implementation of hudud.
