The management of LC Restaurant in Kampung Baru in Kuala Lumpur has clarified that it has no connection with Restoran Nasi Kandar Line Clear in Penang which was ordered temporarily closed recently.

Its owner, Lokman Madinah, said LC Restaurant and Restoran Nasi Kandar Line Clear were managed by two different entities.

Speaking at a press conference in Kuala Lumpur today, he urged the public not to believe any claims on the social media connecting the two restaurants.

Beginning March 13, two nasi kandar restaurants along Penang Road, Penang, were ordered closed for two weeks by the Penang City Council after failing to meet health standards.

The LC Restaurant began operating in Kampung Baru in April last year and is a rebranding of the Restoran Nasi Kandar Line Clear in Penang.
