The search for Proton Holdings Bhd’s foreign strategic partner is ongoing and the company aims to complete it by end-June 2017, said DRB-Hicom Bhd.

In a statement today, DRB-Hicom confirmed that all bidders were still in the running and it was now evaluating the bids.

“We have stated that the process is a complex one and DRB Hicom intends to ensure that the chosen FSP will result in a win-win situation for all,” it said.

DRB-Hicom said it would see through the evaluation process and bring on board the most suitable FSP to improve Proton’s future.

“We will make the announcement as soon as the process is completed,” it said.
