Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) will on April 14 launch a roadshow on April 14 to raise awareness on "misappropriations by the BN".

The roadshow, titled "Save Malaysia, Save Rakyat" roadshow or "Semarak" for short, will kick off in Pasir Puteh, Kelantan, where the top three leaders of the party are expected to be present, Bersatu information chief Kamarudin Md Nor said today.

"All Malaysian citizens are invited to join the Semarak roadshow to get the latest information for the sake of truth and unity to save Malaysia, fight against misappropriations and corruption and to topple the BN government," Kamarudin said at a press conference at the Bersatu headquarters in Petaling Jaya.

The programmes scheduled for the roadshow are meant to:

1. Provide information and awareness to the people about the misppropriations by the BN leadership;

2. Boost the rakyat's confidence on the capabilities of Bersatu and opposition coalition Pakatan Harapan to govern the nation better; and

3. To get closer to the rakyat and attract the voters' support for the forthcoming general election.

Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin also announced Bersatu’s newly-appointed Srikandi leadership, including its chief Rina Mohd Harun.

Rina, who is a banking management and finance graduate, was formerly from Puteri Umno, where s member of the Puteri Umno central executive council from 2009 to 2013.

Her last position in Umno was as as Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi Wanita Umno branch chief, from 2013 to 2016.
