The family of the late Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat is considering legal action against Parti Amanah Nasional (Amanah), over an event bearing former PAS spiritual leader's name.

"Our panel of lawyers is examining closely the speeches, statements and how the event was held.

"If there is any false accusation or statement that can tarnish the good name of the late Nik Aziz, we will not hesitate to take legal action to protect his purity and good name," said Nik Adli, who is one of Nik Aziz's 10 children.

The statement was posted on the Facebook page of his brother and Pasir Mas MP Nik Abduh.
