PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli will reveal the identity of the former PAS leader, whom he claimed had received 1MDB funds, tomorrow.

"I will name the former PAS leader who received 1MDB funds via Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's private account, which was investigated, at a press conference at 1pm," he said in a statement.

Rafizi would also lodge a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) with the information supporting his allegation on Friday.

"I leave it all to Allah and the Malaysian people to judge because my intentions are clear: so the rakyat have all the information on the intentions and positions of all parties on national corruption like 1MDB and to make a fair judgment at the ballot box," he added.

Najib has denied abusing public funds for personal gain and attorney-general Mohamed Apandi Ali has cleared him of any wrongdoing.

The RM2.6 billion in the prime minister's personal accounts were said to be a donation from the Saudi royalty, which was confirmed by Apandi.

PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang has also denied Rafizi's allegation, describing it as a "300 percent lie".

Rafizi earlier hinted that the ex-PAS leader was someone who tried to build a bridge between PAS and Umno to form a unity government.

He also said that the ex-PAS leader received funds from Najib "the same way the Johor Baru MP received funds from Najib".

Johor Baru MP Shahrir Samad said last year that he received funds from Najib, who is also Umno president, for political spending in his constituency.

Rafizi said PAS must now check if it had been a beneficiary of the funds received by the ex-PAS leader as it could mean it operated with "syubhah" (suspicious and unclear if it is halal or haram) sources of income.
