Dr M urges Pekan folk to show Najib the door

Former Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has appealed to Pekan voters to "save the country" by ousting their longtime MP Najib Abdul Razak in the next general election.

In a video message to Pekan voters uploaded to Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia's (Bersatu) Facebook page, he said Najib had acted differently from his father after he became prime minister.

"I am of the view that Pekan is the most important constituency in the next general election, because its representative has unexpectedly become someone who has done despicable acts which have been detrimental to the country...
