EC chief not offended by predecessor's attack

Election Commission chief Mohd Hashim Abdullah says he bears no ill feelings towards his predecessor-turned-critic Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman.

"Personally, I am not offended. When a politician says something to me, it is from a political perspective.

"He did not attack me personally. If I wasn't EC chief, he wouldn't say all this.

"I respect Rashid and all other former EC chairpersons... Because they were my former bosses," Mohd Hashim said at a press conference in Putrajaya today...
