Fuel prices will go down across the board effective midnight.

According to the Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Ministry, RON95 and RON97 will go down by five sen and seven sen per litre respectively, bringing the new retail prices to RM2.05 and RM2.31.

As for diesel, the retail price will go down by eight sen, to RM1.94 per litre.

This is the second lowest price for both RON95 and RON97 since the implementation of the weekly fuel price system which came into effect on March 30.

On the other hand, this is the lowest price for diesel since the implementation of the new fuel price system.

The retail price of fuel is determined based on the Mean of Platts Singapore (Mops) and currency strength average of the previous week.
