DAP rejects Bersatu's 'monopoly' of Harapan leadership

DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng has rejected the possibility of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) leaders assuming the posts of chairperson and president of Pakatan Harapan.

"I would not agree that both the chairperson and president (posts) be filled by Bersatu. This is a monopoly and taking control (of the coalition)," he told reporters in Kuala Lumpur today.

"We (Harapan) have yet to make a final decision on it (the lineup)," he said, emphasising the need for a consensus between the member parties...
