PAS VP: BN gov't's failure won't secure opposition victory
Harping on scandals and policy failures of the BN government will not guarantee victory for the opposition, said PAS vice-president Iskandar Samad.
He said voters will be more keen to know if the opposition has solutions to their daily woes like the rising cost of living following the implementation of the goods and services tax.

Harping on scandals and policy failures of the BN government will not guarantee victory for the opposition, said PAS vice-president Iskandar Samad.
He said voters will be more keen to know if the opposition has solutions to their daily woes like the rising cost of living following the implementation of the goods and services tax.
"The rakyat are getting wiser so the opposition can no longer just play up issues.
"The rakyat wants to see clearly how this country would look like if it is governed by the opposition.
"The opposition must show how their policies can impact the lives of the rakyat," he said in a statement.
As such, Iskandar urged opposition leaders to go to the ground to find out what matters to the people and to publicise policies implemented by PAS-led Kelantan and PKR-led Selangor.
Iskandar, who is a senior executive councillor in Selangor, did not mention DAP-led Penang.
Iskandar added the opposition cannot be too confident because there might be months yet before the 14th general election.
"Anything can happen in politics," he said.
