Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia deputy president Mukhriz Mahathir has warned of legal action over coverage of his defamation trial against the prime minister's press secretary Tengku Sarifuddin Tengku Ahmad.

"I take note of the reports by a number of media, particularly Utusan Malaysia, on my defamation trial against Tengku Sarifuddin which took place on Thursday and Friday.

"The title and content of the reports were not only untrue but twisted to give a wrong picture of what actually happened during the trial.

"I have instructed my lawyers to take all necessary measures in accordance with the law to deal with the matter," he said in a statement today...
