Terengganu is suffering from a "serial ill project" sickness, said an opposition MP, who claimed the bill to treat the illness will run up to RM2 billion.

Kuala Terengganu MP Raja Kamarul Bahrin Shah Raja Ahmad claimed these included the Gong Badak football stadium (RM300 million), Taman Ilmu education hub in Besut (RM350 million), the Tasik Kenyir Tax Free Complex (RM350 million), and the Batu Buruk Aquatic Complex (RM30 million).

The original cost for these four abandoned projects totalled RM1.03 billion, but Raja Kamarul Bahrin Shah claimed that repair works to complete them would drive up the cost to between RM1.35 billion and RM1.5 billion.
