Malaysia's manufacturing sales in June rose 14.9 percent year-on-year to RM39.3 billion (US$10 billion), official data showed Wednesday.

Sales rose 5.6 percent from May, the Statistics Department said in a statement.

For the first six months of the year, cumulative manufacturing sales rose 16.5 percent year-on-year to RM224.8 billion.
