A total of 72 percent or 8,640 respondents representing Selangor residents have expressed satisfaction with the overall performance of the state government.
This was based on the findings of a Merdeka Center survey that polled 12,001 respondents from Jan 23 to June 29, Selangor exco in charge of local councils Ean Yong Hian Wah told a press conference at the state secretariat building in Shah Alam today.
“Overall, the satisfaction of the people towards the state government of Selangor has improved,” Ean Yong noted, citing the last survey results from 2015 which recorded a 67 percent satisfaction rate.
At the same time, he said, the new survey also recorded a 74 percent satisfaction rate on the performances of all 12 local councils in Selangor, up from 63 percent in 2015...
