Pakatan Harapan component parties Amanah and DAP have expressed concern over the seemingly chummy relationship between PKR deputy president Azmin Ali and PAS.

Azmin, who is also Harapan elections director, admitted yesterday that “informal discussions” have been ongoing with the Islamist party and said he hoped to “step it up” as GE14 loomed.

Amanah elections director Dr Mohd Hatta Ramli said he hoped the coalition would be kept in the loop if formal meetings took place with PAS.

“If it involves Harapan’s interests then (everyone in) Harapan needs to be informed. But if it’s their (PKR’s) personal matter then it doesn’t matter,” he said when contacted by Malaysiakini today...
