Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak remains as coy as ever on when he'll be calling for the next general election.

"Elections can be held at any time. If there is an election, we'll even postpone the date of the Umno general assembly (this year)," Najib said at a press conference in Kuala Lumpur today.

He said this when asked whether BN has finalised its shortlist of election candidates, to which he said it was an "ongoing process."
