PKR is merely following in the footsteps of its de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim by holding negotiations with PAS said Wanita PKR chief Zuraida Kamaruddin.

"One-on-one seat negotiations have been the formula prescribed by Anwar for the opposition bloc during previous elections and it has proven to be effective.

"Since PKR has continued engagements with PAS even after PAS ceased to be a coalition partner, avoiding three-cornered fights is still possible; maybe not all, but at least enough to topple BN and take over Putrajaya," Zuraida said in a statement today.
