DAP is behaving like it is stricken with “rabies” in its quest to remain as the “controlling” party in Pakatan Harapan, said a PAS Youth leader.

The wing's information chief Hishamuddin Abdul Karim said in the party's mouthpiece Harakahdaily that DAP's “disease” is evident in its continuous attacks against PAS.

“PAS, which refused to become a proxy for DAP through its agents (who later started Amanah), is now faced with a barrage of attacks from DAP's allies (in Harapan), Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) and PKR.

“However, Amanah, Bersatu and PKR did not 'bite' PAS, as expected by DAP, causing the party to now behave as if stricken with the 'rabies' virus.

“Lim Kit Siang, in his last few statements, is not only seen to have abandoned Amanah, but has also completely ignored Bersatu.

“In fact, he is clearly asking for and talking about seats for DAP, previously contested by PKR. This means that Kit Siang feels that he is influential enough to become the key decision maker for Harapan,” said Hishamuddin.

He added that the influence wielded by the father-son duo of Kit Siang and Lim Guan Eng in DAP would “bury” the party soon.

“This is compounded by their arrogance in displaying an anti-Islam attitude and insulting Islamic laws. In fact, they also rudely question status quo issues in the country, including the privileges accorded to the bumiputera.”

According to Hishamuddin, DAP has also succeeded in “tying” Dr Mahathir Mohamad, the “former dictator” who was in power for 22 years.

Hishamuddin also dubbed Guan Eng's recent remark that PAS risks losing Kelantan if it does not join the opposition coalition in the next general election as “childish”.

“The fact is, DAP is now faced with the possibility of losing Penang and most of its other seats now. It encourages BN lawmakers to jump ship, but complains when one of its representatives quits the party. They call lawmakers from other parties who cross over heroes, but label those who dessert DAP as traitors.

“Now, both Lims are covering up internal issues in DAP by attacking PAS and disturbing other parties in Harapan. They realise that Harapan's coalition formula will not only cause them to lose, but it opens them up for backstabbing.

“DAP is now forced to deal with various consequences brought about by their past 'evils',” said Hishamuddin.
