Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak has been urged to declassify the Auditor-General's Report on 1MDB before his meeting with US President Donald Trump next week.

Opposition leader Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said doing so would help dispel speculation that Najib's visit was related to the investigations into the 1MDB funds by the US Department of Justice (DOJ).

"If there is nothing to hide, the Umno-BN government must declassify the report on 1MDB before Najib departs for the US.

"If it is not made public, Najib's meeting with Trump will likely be seen as an effort to 'cleanse' the name of 'Malaysian Official 1'," Wan Azizah said in a statement today...
