Tahfiz fire teen suspects may be spared death penalty

The police have yet to submit their investigation papers to the Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC) despite having concluded their probe on the alleged arson at the Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah Tahfiz Centre in Kuala Lumpur.

Attorney-general Mohamed Apandi Ali, who just came back from his pilgrimage in Mecca, said he looked at the case seriously.

"I am still waiting for the investigation papers, but I look at it seriously," said Mohamed Apandi at a conference today...
