Anina's allegations 'not quite right', says Muhyiddin

The allegations made by Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) co-founder Anina Saadudin, who resigned from her party post recently, are “not quite right” according to party president Muhyiddin Yassin.

Muhyiddin claimed that Anina had met him several months ago to express her intention to resign, but did not raise any issues about the party leadership at the time.

“This is her choice. All the statements that she made are not quite right because Anina had seen me several months ago to express her desire to stop and perhaps leave the party.

“I asked why, and she said she was facing many problems. No money, no job… But she didn’t mention anything about my behaviour, about (Bersatu president Dr Mahathir Mohamad), or any other leader,” he told reporters...
